“On the idea of the woman’s assertion wherein she alleged harassment, a contemporary case might be registered towards Rana on fees of extortion and bodily assault. We will even search warrant towards Rana’s spouse and two sisters-in-law within the 2018 kidnapping case,” SP (Agra Metropolis) Botre Rohan Pramod stated.

Three years in the past, Rana was booked for kidnapping and raping the identical woman. The woman was then recovered from Meerut and Rana was arrested. He was later launched in 2019.

In the meantime, police will transfer the court docket to hunt Divyanshu’s custody. Divyanshu was arrested by Madhya Pradesh Police three days in one other case of cybercrime.
