Bulk deal: Bharti Airtel, Easy Trip Planners, others exchange hands

Warburg Pincus sold shares of telecom major Bharti Airtel for ₹1,649 crore through an open market transaction.
According to data on BSE, Lion Meadow Investment Ltd, an affiliate of private equity firm Warburg Pincus sold f shares of Bharti Airtel. Lion Meadow offloaded 1,90,00,000 shares, at an average price of ₹868 apiece, taking the aggregate transaction size to ₹1,649.20 crore. It sold o.32 percent stake in Bharti Airtel.
The buyers were Capital Group in 11 tranches at an average price of ₹868.
According to data on NSE, CreditAccess India BV sold 90,00,000 shares at an average price of ₹1,245.88.
BNP Paribas Arbitrage bought 12.16 lakh shares at an average price of ₹1,245.76, Canara Robeco Mutual Fund Emerging Equity bought 11.80 lakh shares at ₹1,245.01, Plutus Wealth Management LLP bought 10.23 lakh shares at ₹1,245.
A promoter sold a 5.75 per cent stake in Easy Trip Planners through open market transactions on Friday. Rikant Pittie sold 100,000,000 shares at an average price of ₹40.05.
Setu Securities Pvt Ltd, Societe Generale, SW Capital Private Limited bought shares in Easy Trip Planners. Societe Generale bought 1,50,00,000 shares at an average price of ₹40 and , SW Capital bought 1,84,48,565 shares at ₹40.78.
While, T D Power System also saw heavy buying and selling.
Chartered Capital And Investment Ltd, Hitoshi Matsuo, Mohib Nomanbhai Khericha and Nikhil Kumar sold shares in the company.
ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, Societe Generale, Quant Mutual Fund, Mahindra Mutual Fund bought stake in the company.
