Multibagger pharma stock trading 123% above 52-week-low declares 1:10 stock split and 50% dividend: Do you own?

The Board of Directors have “Recommended dividend for Financial Year ended 31.03.2023 of Rs. 5/- i.e. @ 50% per equity share having face value of Rs.10/- aggregating to Rs. 4,60,13,850/-. The payment is subject to the approval of shareholders at the ensuing AGM,” said Themis Medicare in a stock exchange filing.

“The Board considered the proposal for sub-division of 1 equity share of the Company having facé value of Rs.10/- each into 10 (Ten) equity shares having face value of Rs.1/- each, subject to regulatory/statutory approvals as may be required and the approval of the shareholders of the Company,” said Themis Medicare in a statement.

According to Themis Medicare, the dividend will be paid on or after Saturday 09th September , 2023 to those shareholders or their mandates whose names appear as beneficial owners as of the end of the business hours on Friday 01st September, 2023 being fixed as the record date.

The company has reported a consolidated total income of Rs.83.05 crores during the quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to Rs.81.63 crores during the quarter ended March 31, 2022, representing a gain of 1.74% YoY. During Q4FY23 the company recorded a consolidated net profit of 8.40 Cr down by 15.52% YoY from 9.94 Cr during Q4FY22. The consolidated EPS of Themis Medicare stood at 9.12 during the quarter under review down by 15.48% YoY from 10.79 during the year-ago quarter. 

On Friday the shares of Themis Medicare closed on the BSE at 1549.95 apiece down by 0.04% from the previous close of 1550.50. The stock touched a 52-week-high of 1,599.90 on (02/05/2023) and a 52-week-low of 692.00 on (20/06/2022), indicating that at the current market price, the stock is trading 123.98% above the 1 year low and 3.12% below the 1 year high.
